Post of the Week
We love a good story, especially when it involves fabric and design. We also love good news for our Q-niverse buds. You may have heard about it over in Twitterland this week, or you may have seen us mention it on our Facebook page, but in case you missed it, here is the awesome News over at Art Gallery Fabrics.

We just cannot wait to see what Bari J and Pat come up with this year with their very creative union!! Rumor has it Bari may be sneak peaking her new Art Gallery line of fabric very soon.Stick to her blog like glue to find out. And it will probably have nothing to do with goldfish crackers…we hope.

Quilt of the Week
And our quilt of the week is one I picked out just because the greenness of it made me wish for our North American summer to come back from our Southern Hemispherical friends. But not only for that reason. The quilting is sensational as it looks like the sun streaming through the forest.

MQGC2 "11 Leaves"

Read all of the details about this quilt here.

Especially interesting are the closeups of the quilting. Absolutely incredible. I found it intriguing that Stephanie openly pondered whether her quilt was too “arty” and not “modern” enough to win the prize. Equally revealing was that really, in the long run, that didn’t matter so much because she loved making it, and loved the result.

Be sure to share your finds of quilts and posts that would interest other Gen Q readers and send them to Scott at scott@generationqmagazine.com and we will see if we can get those in our lineup.

I “met” Stephanie last year during the Blockapalooza QAL. She has shown me so much about color choice. Now, if I only had the nerve to try it!
