Pattern-tease, part one

One of the things about Market that just sends our brains into overdrive and makes our palms itch are all the new patterns. There are tons! And like any mix of greatness, each element has its own deliciousness. (Think ultra-gourmet trail mix with sun-dried cherries, cashews, hazelnuts and dark chocolate chunks.) There are variations on themes, totally fresh ideas, old ideas overhauled with an appealing new perspective…you just can’t imagine the abundance of quilt and sewing genius displayed under one roof.

We’d like to give you a taste of just some of the patterns that caught our eye in the aisles at Kansas City last month, and a few we found through other means. Today’s selection are mostly kids’ patterns. Some of the designers are well known, and others are just starting out. So many patterns, so little time! (Click on any photo to go to that company’s website.)
