In the Q-niverse: Nail Bling

If you’re like us (that would be the obsessed fabric slut type) you just can’t get your stitching on enough! So when we came across these fantabulous nail decals, we fell–hard. We’re thinking you might too.

Kate Broughton of merry ol’ England is a Nottingham-based illustrator and designer who just happens to also share a passion for sewing, quilting and other needle crimes. She started with a line of illustrations of birds on he Etsy shop to sport on our tips, but recently moved on to sewing-themed pics. The set of six little pics includes a spool of thread, scissors, yarn ball, button, threaded needle and a sewing machine–non-brand specific. (That’s called Politically Correct in our world!)

One set includes two of each decal and equals a little more than $3 American. And no fair saying that you don’t like having your nails look good. Some of us think that our nails are our best sewing tools, and therefore deserve to be dressed to the nines.

And in case you get bored of just dressing your nails up, Kate’s got the same images blown up for temporary tatts as well. (Is it possible for a quilt tatt to be considered a Tramp Stamp? Hmmm, we guess it depends on where it’s placed.)

Brilliant, we say, and tons of fun. We should think this because once upon a time we searched high and low for nail decals and tattoos that were sewing themed. And here they are. Thanks Kate! You’re the bomb, girl!
