Here at Generation Q Magazine, we’re all about the bass. Wait? What?! No, no that’s not it. No. We’re all about quilts and creativity and fun and playing. Yeah, that’s it. We like to play so much that we’ve extended our Block Builder Date for the March-April 2015 issue to Saturday, Dec. 27! Awesome sauce!
You can do this, you know. Quilters have been filling in three-inch squares for years with a much loved and used drawing technique. Start with a little bit or a blank canvas, draw for 15 minutes or so…et voila! Much fun.
Our Block Builder series comes directly from Scott’s family time. Family time rocks it.
So Teri had a few minutes this afternoon to fiddle around with the Block Builder and came up with a wintry ski scene for hers. Two things to know: 1) Teri is not a fan of winter and 2) she would rock this in applique, layering in all the different components with different fabrics and stitching to make the ski trails.
