Hi to the readers of Generation Q and especially my friend Jake! Well since I have been over the top crazy with my real job, with my wonderful Santa Barbara Quilting Retreats Company, with the 3 guilds I belong to, with seeing my family enough to at least recognize them when they show and the same for my friends…this is my first adventure to sit and read this wonderful adventure that Jake and Melissa have created! I knew it was happening and now I am sitting here at my desk at home and surveying the great information that is here I am very happy. I loved the paper magazine but this is by far better and so accessible and fun! Thanks for doing this and look forward to spending great times with you.

Love Cathe

When will your new magazine be available in the USA? Will it be available in JoAnn’s and/or Barnes and Noble?

Hi Grace: We will be on newsstands for the second issue and yes, B&N and JoAnn’s are two of our many targets, but right now we’re still making all of those arrangements. In the meantime, we’re available through the Fat Quarter Shop and probably several other online retailers. And in mid-June, we’ll make available single-issue sales on our website. But we want to give our shops a chance to sell us first. Hope that helps. -Jake

Hi. I love reading you posts. Now i would love to have you in print ‘so to speak’! However, I live in Australia and therefore need to buy online. Can you tell me where to go to buy your first edition. Can’t find how to do this on your site.

Thanks,
Karen

Well, Karen, it’s funny you should ask as we go live with our PayPal in the morning and you’ll be able to buy Issue 1 then. Since you’re in Australia, email me directly and I’ll track down the shipping rates for you. I need your postal code and city. My email is jake@generationqmagazine.com. And THANK YOU for supporting us!!

Would love to get my hands on your magazine. Don’t live in Denver where I can buy one at a shop, but I may have to make a special trip. Looks like sooooooooooooooo much fun! Nancy Olsen

Just wanted to say…..I LOVE this magazine! :0) Can’t wait for a subscription option or at least B&N carrying this. Great job! Love the articles, product reviews and patterns. I have really missed that since Quilters Home went away. :-( BTW, the size of the mag is sooo cute….it fits in my purse perfectly!

Really love the Modern style, designers and fabrics…really hope to read more about those topics! (Since I am not so much into patterns, but rather ideas. Hence blogs being a fave.) Thanks again…can’t wait for the next issue!

Hi – I just found out about your magazine from the Martingale blog. Do you have any plans to go digital with the magazine?- I would love to be able to purchase it in PDF format, and read on my computer, or ereader.
