Gotta get you some GenQ!

Well, Q-bies, you’ve been patient, we know. So we’re happy to tell you that as of today, the print debut edition of Generation Q Magazine is available for purchase on our website.

Now, we’re not looking to take the thunder of our arrival away from our wonderful quilt and fabric shop distributors. In fact, we’re asking that if you look at the list that’s posted on our site for our retail buds who have so kindly invested their hard-earned wholesale moolah into carrying GenQ and you are able to acquire our baby from them, that you do so. Really. We’re the back up plan here. But, should they all be out of our debut effort or are too far away to run to, feel free to buy from us. And, by the way, your mom wants one. And so does your sister. Oh, and your daughter’s fifth grade teacher put in an order. Did you remember that your Aunt Agnes from Toleda likes to quilt?

If you’re a shop owner who would like to carry GenQ, email Jake. Now. Today. ‘Cuz she’s got lots of them in her garage, just waiting for a new home. Her email is jake@generationqmagazine.com. And please don’t think it would be a waste of time, money or effort to carry us at this point, because we’ve only been out for a couple of weeks, and because we have ways of helping you sell our baby. It involves some unique promotional efforts and good-ol’ fashioned marketing. We hear it’s working. After all, there are some things that ONLY our retailers can offer along with GenQ and we love that. Oh, and the next one doesn’t come out until late August, so there’s plenty of time left to spread the love.

For those of you who have been biting your nails, waiting for the arrival of your own copy of GenQ in return for your incredible Kickstarter pledge (that actually paid for the printing of this little pretty), hang in there. We’re about halfway through bagging and tagging the 350 pledge rewards from our Kickstarter campaign. It just takes time and we tackle a few more every day. (That’s why we said it would take until July to get them done. We knew better.)

Seriously though, we all want to thank you for being there for us, reading us, laughing with us, sending us suggestions and supporting the addition of our print magazine. We could not have done this without you all. It’s been an amazing journey this last year and it’s only the start of the fun we’re gonna have together. So, again, thank you. We are GenQ!
