Have we ever done anything quietly? Well, we’re not about to start now, especially when it comes to getting the word out about GenQ‘s transition into print.
Believe it or not, some folks in the modern/contemporary stitching world haven’t heard about our new baby. (What? Are they living under a rock?) So, today–with a lot of help from some dear friends and supporters, we kick off the Generation Q Debut Issue Blog Tour. First out of the gate is Miss Print’s Kaye Prince. Our heartfelt thanks to Kaye and all our blogging friends who agreed to help us spread the word and tell you what they think about this first issue.
Of course you’ll have a chance to win your very own copy of this debut issue at each stop on the tour. In fact, there will be 16 chances in all, so check in daily on these fine blogs as the party progresses:
June 25–Kaye Prince, Miss Print
June 26–Carrie Bloomston, Such Designs
June 27–Cara Wilson, Cara Quilts
June 28–Heather Jones, Olive and Ollie
June 29–Melissa Peda, 100 Billion Stars
June 30–Rose Hughes, Ravenspeak Quilts
July 1–Bari Ackerman, Bari J
July 2–Fat Quarter Shop
July 3–Emily Cier, Carolina Patchworks
July 4–Scott Hansen, Blue Nickel Studios
July 5–Jackie Kunkel, Canton Village Quilt Works
July 6–Cheryl Arkison, Naptime Quilter
July 7–Amy Ellis, Amy’s Creative Side
July 8–Julie Herman, Jaybird Quilts
July 9–Megan Dougherty, The Bitchy Stitcher (Wonder what she’ll have to say?)
July 10–FabTalk blog
And would you look at that? The tour ends right before a very special day: July 11. Our birthday, and the first anniversary of when GenQ first debuted online! Let’s just say the GenQ-tinis will be flowing then!
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Again, our thanks to the cast of star bloggers on our tour! And if you don’t win any of their giveaways, you can still get your very own copy. Just check under the “Current Issue” tab on this site, and you’ll find a list of online and brick-and-mortar shops that stock GenQ. Or, you can buy a copy from little ol’ us.
Enjoy the tour!
