But this time from a (quilting) sister. Lisa Pries-Linn is one of my fellow Albuquerque Modern Quilt Guild members and a groupie at Hip Stitch, our local modern fabric shop. She’s been to the Sisters show at least twice now, each time rounding up her mom and her best friend to drive from hot, dry New Mexico up to the dry but greener high desert country of central Oregon where she can get her quilt-show fix in a big way.
She’s now vowed that this July pilgrimage to her version of Quilter’s Mecca will become an annual journey. And she was kind enough to share a few images. Thanks, Lisa!
