Happy Thanksgiving Q-bies! We asked our staff to share those things for which we’re all Thank-full:

Melissa Thompson-Maher
For two healthy, happy grandchildren
For Pat’s recuperation from stroke a year ago
For my own energy, strength and pretty good health
For the restorative power of creative efforts
For the fact that no one seems to mind when I leave my sewing all over the dining room table (because that’s the only way I can steal a few minutes of needle time)pumpkins

Debi Knight,
I have a list of what I’m thank-full for that would fill several pages. Here are some of the highlights ….

I’m thank-full for Vincent Van Gogh and his creativity and willingness to not be confined to tradition and for his ability to see. (Did you know that his painting Starry Sky perfectly illustrates what physicists have discovered about the universe and stars and their movements?)
I’m thank-ful for this amazingly beautiful planet I’ve been born on to roam and explore. Look around .. is there anything more beautiful that what this Earth has to offer … of course besides the stars? (I do live in the boonies and am surrounded by forest and what we here call fourteeners.)
I’m thank-full for my clients and the people I get to work for …. they bring out my best qualities and I enjoy being of service.
I’m thank-full for dogs …. particularly German Shepherd Dogs. (Did you know that scientists speculate the reason why Homo Sapiens survived and Neanderthalls didn’t was dogs. The Homos cultivated relationships with dogs and there’s evidence of dogs as part of their communities. There’s absolutely no evidence of dogs in Neanderthal communities and scientists speculate that the dogs were a large part of why the Homos survived … the dogs are great for warning of danger and for protection. Homes created symbiotic relationships, Neanderthals apparently didn’t know how. ) I have two now from a long line of many before.
I’m thank-ful God gave us creativity and talent … there’s nothing I love more than being an artist and a maker. I’m also thankful God gave us the genius to invent pencils, pens, crayons, paints, paint brushes, paper, printing presses and all the wonderful toys I get to play with daily.
Finally, to cut the list short, I would be remiss not to say I’m very very thank-full for my loving and supportive humanoid husband. He is truly my hero in all ways. it took me some time to find him but once we met, we were inseparable … and he happened to be another woman’s blind date on the night we met. it was my phone number he asked for. Woohoo.
Cheers to Thanksgiving and all the joy and love in the world. May you be blessed with abundance.

I’m thankful that I’ve lived long enough to be part of 5 generations. Holding great grandchildren is love not easily explainable.
I’m thankful that I was born and live in the US. Even with all the problems we have, we are blessed beyond measure.
I’m thankful for family and friends, they are the fabric of our lives.
I’m thankful that I get to be a part of an amazing team that inspires me personally, and my creativity.
I’m thankful that God placed in my life, an amazing man that I’m married to.
I’m thankful that I have the freedom to express myself.

I continue to be thankful for clean and plentiful water because without it, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my precious family and friends. If we lose water, we lose everything.
