Happy Thanksgiving Q-bies! We asked our staff to share those things for which we’re all Thank-full:
Melissa Thompson-Maher
For two healthy, happy grandchildren
For Pat’s recuperation from stroke a year ago
For my own energy, strength and pretty good health
For the restorative power of creative efforts
For the fact that no one seems to mind when I leave my sewing all over the dining room table (because that’s the only way I can steal a few minutes of needle time)
Debi Knight,
I have a list of what I’m thank-full for that would fill several pages. Here are some of the highlights ….
I’m thankful that I’ve lived long enough to be part of 5 generations. Holding great grandchildren is love not easily explainable.
I’m thankful that I was born and live in the US. Even with all the problems we have, we are blessed beyond measure.
I’m thankful for family and friends, they are the fabric of our lives.
I’m thankful that I get to be a part of an amazing team that inspires me personally, and my creativity.
I’m thankful that God placed in my life, an amazing man that I’m married to.
I’m thankful that I have the freedom to express myself.
Scott Hansen,
I’m thankful for more friends than I can actually count.
I’m thankful for the woman who has been my very best friend for 26 years plus.
I’m thankful for the ability to find beauty in the everyday.
I’m thankful for three splendid children, who despite differing tastes in pop culture, are generally very discerning and wise. I’m thankful that these three amazing people care for the downtrodden and not just for themselves.
I’m thankful for this great group of people that I work with, although they are also in included in the first group
I’m thankful for the gift of eternal life for my son Jackson Aaron.
I’m thankful for my family and friends, especially all the love and support they’ve shown us through this difficult year.
I’m thankful for my amazing husband who always is by my side and understands my quilting addiction.
I’m thankful for my son, Jared, who is a sweet, compassionate, CRAZY almost 4 year old.
I’m thankful for my sewing friends that I learn so much from.
I’m thankful for the GenQ family and becoming great friends.
I’m thankful for a sewing room to have all my stuff in one place.
I continue to be thankful for clean and plentiful water because without it, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my precious family and friends. If we lose water, we lose everything.
I’m feeling kind of thank-full.
Thank-fully, I have some seriously great friends.
Thank-fully, I get to work for A lovely magazine.
Thank-fully I can explain to someone else how to use a semicolon
Thank-fully, I can quilt…
