Attention, Q-Bies!

The Sewing Party is almost here!  Just 6 short days til all this fun and learning happens.

Here’s the reminder:

Who doesn’t like a good party involving the best ingredients:  fabric, thread, batting and great teachers like Carrie Bloomston, Kevin Kosbab, Bari J Ackerman, Rob Appel, and so many more from the quilting,/sewing/home decorating/embroidery world. After all, we know this is one big stitchy world.

The Sewing Party” is the first ever online-all-day DIY event in history. On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, thousands of DIY-ers will gather for a fun-filled day of sewing and crafting classes taught online by leading bloggers and educational experts. It’s all about connecting, crafting and creating. And these classes can be taken in your jammies with a cup of coffee in your hand (or perhaps an evening gown with a bit of bubbly in a champagne flute).

Tickets to the party are $40, and you can register here  for classes such as these:

* Ashley Briggs’  You Should be Choosy About your Thread Choice

10 Patternmaking Skills Every Fashion Forward Sewer Needs to Know with Denise Wild

Understanding Color from the Inside Out with Carrie Bloomston

There’s a TON more. Visit here to see the full schedule.  Classes will remain available for 90 days after the Nov. 8 Sewing Party!
