I love the size of your magazine. It tucks into a tote or handbag, no problem. I wish it was available at the new stands in our area (Canada). At least I have not seen it locally.
When I make quilts, I generally start with a pattern. I may change things but I usually need a blueprint to start. It would be great to win your prize.

2. You’re teaching the old dogs (of the quilt publications world) new tricks.
3. Patterns inspire me, like recipes do. But like recipes, patterns are just the place I jump off from!

1) my fav thing is when you showcase a quilter and show us how the live their quilt life.
2)it looks like my wish is going to be answered when you go digital..that would such a plus.
3)my creative juices really get flowing after spending some cruise time on Pinerest. I do need to limit my time tho’ or I spend more time planning the new adventure rather than getting going on it (lol)

You guys are fabulous…thanks for all of the inspiration!

I love all the inspiration the GenQ- pattern, interviews, encouragement to try something new! I guess I hope you keep doing what you do- stay on the cutting edge and keep pushing our boundaries, surprise us. I’m always excited to read a Gen Q magazine. Inspiration…??? Hard to know where it comes from especially in the dead of winter, but improv piecing, even though it’s something I’m relatively new to, really is exciting. I need to do more. Also inspiration comes from other quilters, at my guild, online, wherever!

I love that the magazine is not just a bunch of patterns. I enjoy reading the stories behind the quilts. More about what creative process the designers follow would be great. My inspiration can come from anywhere. I am working on a quilt inspired by a turtle! My favorite part of the process is picking the fabrics. Love, love, love the colors.
