I never even heard of AG until about 10 years ago, definitely not while I was growing up. I put my mom through the crazy Cabbage Patch buying craze, and mine was called Amanda… although I don’t remember if they came with the names or I named her. But I am kind of liking the Target knock offs, they are cute and a little more affordable, especially since I don’t know how my 3 year old will treat her dolls yet.

I don’t have a favorite doll, myself…by my niece sure does and I’d love to sew up some clothes for her!

My favorite doll(s) are the ones that my grandmother gave me a few years before she passed away. They were her dolls when she was a little girl. They have porcelain faces, and beautiful white lacy dresses. Because shes gone, i really treasure those dolls. I kinda wish i had saved my favorite dolls from when i was a kid to pass down to my children/grandchildren.

My FAV doll (currently) is Felicity (actually my DD’s original Pleasant Company doll from 1991), but since I’m housing Molly & Kirsten (also original AGs) until DD has a place for them, I’m an equal-opportunity AG ‘Grandparent’ to all 3 and enjoy sewing/sharing clothes among them as I re-learn my newer machine. Would LOVE to win this fabby new book/patterns — thanks for the chance!!!

My favorite doll when I was little was a babydoll named Amosandra! She was so loved and had so many baths that she may not have survived to adulthood!

I don’t have a favorite. I have made clothes for my granddaughter’s AG doll. Even got a compliment at the store when she was wearing her ‘wedding’dress I made.

My favorite doll as a child was a ballet dancer doll that was a hand me down from a younger cousin of my dad. There were lots of clothes that went with her, and a suitcase too. I loved all of it. For some reason the doll had green hair. I suspect Dad’s cousin had something to do with that since at that time you would never find a doll with green hair.
