Senior editor for Generation Q Magazine and designer of the We Sew 2 projects for kids featured in every issue of GenQ, I have been obsessed with the art of quilting since the age of four when a “keep the little one busy” project made me think I was making a quilt. When I was pregnant with my first son, I finally followed through on the itch to stitch, and I’ve been cutting, piecing and quilting ever since. I have been quilting for 25 years (yikes!), although my husband would say more obsessing and less quilting. What can I say? I am proud to be a BERNINA Ambassador and you can sometimes see me as the “roving reporter” on The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims.
I grew up in New Jersey, lived in Boston, Los Angeles, and now I live just outside of Chicago. I share my thread-filled life with my darling hubby of 24 years, three kids who occasionally grace the pages of GenQ, a dog and two cats.
