More on Market: A Picture Starts a Thousand Drools

So yep, the wonderful, hunky and artistic Ty Pennington (ABC's Extreme Home Makeover host) was strung out Saturday on the floor of the Int'l Quilt Market where he showcased his new collection. The quilt hanging behind him was designed and made by none other than our fabulous Cabana Boy, Scott Hansen. Way to go Scott! And yes, Jake did cop a quick squeeze from the Ty-Master.

Nope, we didn't forget about the fabrics in our shameless name-dropping pics here. This is the booth for the new line of fabrics called Dear Stella. Produced by Timeless Treasures Fabrics, Dear Stella was created by two of the company's more modernly-directed staff members who wanted to create cotton they'd want to play with. Tease Alert: We'll be hosting a Playdate with these pretties in the very near future!

Sometimes it's not about the quilts. And for a weekend filled with a great need for a traveling podiatrist, we became a little obsessed with footwear. These darlin' ballet flats were donned by Cindy Luby of Del Ray Fabrics. She says she got em at Nordstrom's. We believe her!

We are blessed with having some incredibly talented and kind friends and here is one of our best--Pat Bravo of Art Gallery Fabrics. Years ago we fell in lust with the incredible feel and look of her fabrics: satiny hand, pure colors and sophisticated bold prints. But we fell in love with Pat's sweet, loving way and her amazing output and follow through. If you haven't fondled an Art Gallery yard yet, do. It's an experience beyond the norm. And then tell Pat, who will hug you like she's known you for years, because to her, she does!

Our last picture from Market: This was at the end of Sunday and we were sitting in the bar at the Hilton Americas lobby. The $10 chardonnay was worth it when David drifted over to watch the last moments of the Steelers' games. (He's a Pitty homeboy and his boys were on the line!) Amy plopped down next to him and we had a good laugh about all of the mature gals gathering in his booth all weekend to see his fabrics. (Yeah, right.) These two are a hoot!

At least one of us has been a die-hard Jane Sassaman addict for many, many years. This mama of the big and bold was showing off her new collection with Free Spirit in a booth that was to die for! That dress in the back? Well we heard more than one fellow Jane Anonymous member threaten to sneak away with it when the floor shut down for the night.

One of the funniest scenes from Market: The scooter rental place. At Market, it's really not in use too much. But come Festival next week, these scooters will be, well, scooting all over the convention center floor.
